The support for the safe motherhood programme is supported primarily by funding from DFID Nepal / UK Aid.
The project empowers and trains community based womens groups in all aspects of maternal health provison and has dramaticly improved child mortality statistics and the knowledge base of health professionals in rural Nepal.
